Prior to founding Schuerman Inspections in 1996, I specialized in residential and commercial construction management, for approximately 18 years with a total of over 26 years in construction related fields. I am well qualified in all areas of construction including materials, principles and methods. I hold a Bachelors degree in Construction Technology from Eastern Kentucky University and also have extensive carpentry training.
I have been associated with several industry associations including The American Subcontractors Association, American Institute of Constructors, Associated General Contractors of America, the American Society for Quality and of course The American Society of Home Inspectors having held various positions within these organizations including board membership.
I have also provided expert testimony in construction related court cases.
I am a published author of articles found in several industry based publications including The ASHI Reporter© and The FREA Communicator© and have been a speaker at several inspection association events. I promise to use all of my knowledge and to deliver the most detailed information about the inspected property to assist you in making informed decisions.
